Students are given the opportunity to get some extra help on weekday mornings from 8:10-8:30. A note from a parent is required at least one day before the desired study session. Usually I am able to accomodate these requests, however, if there is a probelm with the day or time I will reply to the parent and ask to reschedule.

As soon as they get to school they can feel free to come to the classroom and work on whatever they would like, ask me questions pertaining to a subject that is troubling them, clean their desks, study with a friend…etc.
It is basically a time for them to feel comfortable asking me questions that they may not wish to address during class or to get something done that they haven't had the time to complete.

*The children make the decisions about why they are there and what they want to accomplish.

*There may be times when I will recommend that a child attend study group if I see that they are struggling in a particular area.
